Site Assistants

John Moore Heritage Services is currently seeking Project Assistants and Trainees for work initially in East Anglia (immediate positions are available). Accommodation will be provided for the work. The posts are for 2 months with the possibility of extensions.

Project Supervisors

Applicants must have at least 6 months commercial experience at this level. The successful candidates will be required to undertake fieldwork projects and help with post-excavation work. An ability to carry out digital illustration would be advantageous.

GIS & Data Management Technician

Applicants must have at least 6 months commercial experience with data collection in the field and processing. The successful candidate will be required to undertake the processing of fieldwork data and help with training in the use of GPS equiptment. An ability to carry out digital illustration would be advantageous.

 

All applicants must be CSCS carded. For those without such at the moment, advice will be given. A valid Driving Licence with own transport is essential for Supervisor positions in Oxfordshire. Preferably applicants will be members of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists . Personal protective clothing will be issued for the duration of employment.
