John Moore Heritage Services is currently seeking Project Officers with immediate start. Early applications are advised as offers will be made to suitable candidates before the closing date.

All posts are based at the Wheatley head office, with projects in Oxfordshire as well as across southern England. Accommodation is provided on all away jobs, subsistence paid and travel time remunerated.

Project Officers £33,566.40 pa (reviewed in April)
Applicants must have at least 12 months commercial experience at that level. Experience in report writing for various scales of archaeological projects is essential. Candidates with less experience will be considered for Trainee Project Officer positions. The posts are permanent (subject to 6 month probation/training).
The successful candidates will be required to undertake fieldwork projects and subsequent report writing. An ability to carry out digital illustration and familiarity with GPS survey equipment would be advantageous.
