John Moore Heritage Services is an independent heritage consultancy and archaeological practice with a staff of specialists based in Oxford.

Most heritage and archaeological work today is carried out in advance of development, starting with Heritage Statements required under the NPPF followed by any required fieldwork. For Listed Buildings, a Building Impact Statement is prepared assessing the significance of the building's fabric and fittings in relation to the proposals. John Moore Heritage Services is one of the leading service-providers in this field, with many clients who recognise John Moore Heritage Services as experts in excavation, heritage management and dealing with historic buildings. The business was founded in 1999 and is a Registered Organisation with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists. All work is carried out to CIfA Standards and is fully complicit with bodies such as RCHME, English Heritage and CADW.
